It’s all about feeling good…

…and finding balance

A little over 30 years ago I was born on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. My mom being German-Italian and Dad Hawaiian-Chinese-Caucasian, I grew up between Europe and Hawaii learning to speak several languages (English, German, Swiss German, French). At the age of 8 I moved to Switzerland, where I spent most of my life. By returning to the islands for an annual visit to see my father and later my sister as well, Hawaii always remained “my other home”. After a magical winter on the islands in 2016, I followed my dream and moved back to Hawaii. This change opened doors to another world for me and thereby providing a perfect introduction to the sustainable natural lifestyle I longed for.

I have always been interested in food, nutrition and health. Instead of reading a bedtime story I would learn about the human body, diets and nutrition. Anything to give me more understanding on how everything is connected.

My deep journey with plants and learning about their healing properties started while I was struggling with some health problems at the age of 25. After seeing doctor after doctor, therapist after therapist I felt unsatisfied with the remedies they prescribed. During this time I also reconnected with a good friend, who introduced me to the teachings of the Austrian herbalist Maria Treben-who’s knowledge I still use to this day. After studying her books I began to see the medicine everywhere. Plants I walked by every day now have a purpose. mI was hooked… and the best part - I was healing.

While living in Hawaii the journey with the plants continued. Living in a nature loving community, I learned and worked a lot with medicinal plants. I also was introduced to permaculture and farming in the tropics.

Yoga, plants, healthy food, connection with shamanic practices, a loving community and listening to my truth help me find my balance in life. Becoming more and more aware of functions and connections between mind, body, spirit and nature. It has led me on a spiritual journey opening doors to worlds I could only dream of.
